Aam Doi (Baked Mango Yogurt)

  In Mango Season, in my home town Kolkata, which is very popular for Mishti Doi(Sweet Yogurt), sweet shop owners make a variant of Mishti Doi, Aam Doi(Mango yogurt), infusing mango flavour in regular sweet yogurt. It totally tastes yummy. You can also make this Mango Doi at home if you have an oven. There are also stove top version available but the procedure is quite lengthy and time consuming. But this baked version, you can make in 10 minutes of preperation and 30 minutes of baking time. You need only 3 ingredients and you'll have a yummy dessert to surprise your family and friends.


Ingredients :
Plain yogurt : 400 gm.
Condensed milk : 300 ml.
Mango puree : 1 cup ( of 3 large mangoes)


How To : 
  • Puree 3 mangoes in a blender without adding any water till smooth. Keep aside.
  • In a bowl, take yogurt, condensed milk and mango puree. Mix well with spoon. 
  • Pour in an ovenproof dish. Preheat oven to 200 degree C and bake for 30 minutes or yogurt is fully set. 
  • Remove and cool in room temperature. Then refrigerate for at least 4-5 hours or more to set fully. Enjoy chilled..........................
