Ingredients :
All purpose flour : 1 cupSugar : 3/4 cup
Milk : 3/4 cup(lukewarm)
Butter : 3tblsp.+ 1tblsp.
Cocoa powder : 11/2 tblsp.
Baking powder : 1 tsp.
vanilla essence : 1 tsp.
Method :
- Mix together flour and baking powder.
- Powder the sugar in a dry grinder, that makes it easy to cream together sugar and butter. Melt 3 tblsp. butter in a Microwave safe bowl, take it out, add powdered sugar. With a spoon, beat till it looks fluffy.
- Then add vanilla essence and flour. Gradually add milk and mix with a hand mixer till the batter looks creamy.
- In another micro safe bowl, melt 1tblsp. butter, take it out, add cocoa powder and mix well. If you see teh whole chocolate didn't melt, add little(~1 tblsp.) milk and mix.
- Finally, take a microwave safe baking mold, grease with butter, dust with little flour, then add 1 layer of white batter(flour batter), then 1 layer of chocolate mix. Repeat this until of of your batter is used. Then roughly mix both the batter with a fork or spoon to bring the marble effect.
- Micro in high for 5 minutes. Check your microwave wattage first, mine is 800 watt). Mine took whole 5 minutes to bake. Insert a tooth pick, if it comes out clean, then Your Marble cake is ready. Let it stand for another 5 minutes without any power.
- Take out the mold, unmold it and enjoy immediately.
