Hope you all are enjoying the summer..kids are having vacations. That means moms at home are more in rush fullfilling more demands and chores. Summer also means spending some lovely time with your kids too.
It's also perfect time to share another quick but healthy smoothie recipe which I often make at home. Most of the children don't like to drink milk alone, even my daughter too and she is a very picky fruit eater too. So, I try to make her smoothies with milk and fruit in different combination, some she likes, some she doesn't. She has an early school, most of the days she doesn't like to have bread and milk for breakfast. In that case, I make this smoothie with healthy and filling Instant oat flakes, some fruit(mostly Mangoes, when in season) and milk. It is very filling, healthy and taste yumm too, even I like it. I'm sure not only kids, but adults will also love it. Now, to the recipe.........
Ingredients : (serves 4 persons)
Instant oat flakes : 2/3 cup
Milk : 1 cup
Boiling water : 1 cup
Cold water : 1/2 cup
Mangoes : 2 (medium size-canned mango pulp will also do)
Sugar : 2 tblsp.
